If chasing huge Brookies and Cutbows on still wateris what you’re after, then look no further than Henry’s Lake.  It’s home to Idaho’s current State Record Brook Trout, a 7-lb 1-ounce brute that was only 23 inches long.

And with only being a stone’s throw from Yellowstone, we love taking clients onto Henry’s Lake and watch their faces light up as they realize the quality of trout on the end of their line.  The Lake offers the best chance in the country for catching trophy Yellowstone Cutthroat, Brook Trout and Cutbows all in one place. It is also one of the country’s most prolific Stillwater’s in trout growth, where trout can grow an inch a month when conditions are good.

A very shallow weedy lake full of insect life and other invertebrates, Henry’s Lake offers 6,500 surface acres at an elevation of 6,472 feet and should be on everyone’s “must-fish” bucket list locations.
